Georgia font
About this font.
Georgia is a serif typeface designed by Matthew Carter in 1993 and suggested to Microsoft by Tom Rickner. It was designed to be a serif typeface that looks elegant yet is readable when written small or on low-resolution displays. The font was inspired by 19th-century Scotch Roman layouts and was based on patterns for the print typeface inside the similar model Carter was working on when approached by Microsoft; this might be released next year under the name Miller.
