The BodoniTM font is a well-known serif typeface set that has been interpreted by several design companies throughout the years. From Bodoni's initial Didone contemporary typeface in the late 1700s through ATF's American Revival in the early 1900s and on into the digital era, the numerous font styles are discussed. The original design featured a strong appearance with contrasted strokes and a little more condensed upper case than its fashionable inspiration Baskerville.

Bodoni's designs evolved over time, culminating in a typeface with a somewhat condensed underlying structure, flat, unbracketed serifs, strong contrast between thick and thin strokes, and an overall geometric structure.
